Two HDMI 2.1 ports, DisplayPort 2.1, and a single upstream USB-C that carries 4K video, USB data, and up to 100 W of reverse Power Delivery - enough to charge your laptop from the display. Two USB 2.0 ports and a 3.5 mm audio output complete the panel. DisplayPort 2.1 drives native 4K at 240 Hz on a compatible GPU; HDMI 2.1 delivers 4K 120 Hz for consoles.

Stand and orientation
Adjustable height, tilt, and pivot.
The Kuycon stand lets you adjust tilt, pivot, and height, and rotate the display into portrait. The stand is sold separately - every Kuycon P27ZB ships with a VESA 100 × 100 adapter to mount it on any compatible arm or wall mount.

Contrast is the difference between the brightest and darkest parts of an image - a challenge to reproduce on a display, and the reason High Dynamic Range (HDR) exists. With its Nano IPS Black panel, the Kuycon P27ZB takes brightness, contrast, and color to a new level.

Standard IPS panels top out around 1000:1 contrast. The Nano IPS Black panel of the P27ZB doubles that to 2000:1 for genuinely deep blacks, peaks at 550 nits, and is VESA DisplayHDR 600 certified for controlled, punchy highlights.

Every Kuycon P27ZB leaves the factory color-calibrated, so the image you see matches the one your software produces. Over a billion 10-bit colors, a wide gamut covering 99 % of sRGB and 99 % of DCI-P3, and a factory Delta-E below 2 - no banding, no drift across the panel. Photography, color grading, and brand work rendered exactly as intended.

What is the Kuycon P27ZB?
The Kuycon P27ZB is a 27-inch 4K Nano IPS Black display with a dual refresh mode - native 4K (3840 × 2160) up to 240 Hz, or Full HD (1920 × 1080) at 480 Hz for esports. 1 ms GtG response, 550 nits peak brightness, HDR 600, 2000:1 contrast, 10-bit color, 99 % sRGB / 99 % DCI-P3.
Which Macs are compatible?
Any Mac with USB-C / Thunderbolt 3 or newer. Connect over a single USB-C cable for 4K video, data, and 100 W of reverse Power Delivery - your MacBook charges from the display. High refresh rates require a DisplayPort 2.1 source on PC.
Does it work with Windows and Linux?
Yes, natively. On Windows, connect via DisplayPort 2.1 for 4K at 240 Hz, HDMI 2.1, or USB-C. On Linux, the P27ZB works out of the box under Wayland and X11 - brightness via ddcutil, with no vendor driver.
What do I need to reach 4K at 240 Hz?
A GPU with DisplayPort 2.1. Every modern GPU can also switch the P27ZB to FHD 480 Hz mode for competitive shooters, and to 4K 120 Hz over HDMI 2.1.
Is the 480 Hz mode at full resolution?
No - 480 Hz runs at Full HD (1920 × 1080) on the same panel. It's a clean integer scale from native 4K (exactly 2× on each axis), so pixels line up with no blur. You switch between modes via the OSD or a keyboard shortcut.
Glossy or matte?
Matte. The P27ZB uses a flat anti-glare matte coating for comfortable, reflection-free viewing in any lighting. If you prefer a glossy 5K panel, see the Kuycon P27Z.
Is the stand included?
The stand is sold separately. Every P27ZB ships with a VESA 100 × 100 adapter to mount it on any compatible arm or wall mount. The optional Kuycon stand adjusts tilt and pivot up to 90°, height up to 120 mm, and rotates into portrait.
Is the display factory calibrated?
Yes. Every P27ZB is factory calibrated to 99 % sRGB and 99 % DCI-P3 with 10-bit depth (1.07 billion colors) and a Delta-E below 2. Individual calibration ensures the image matches what your software produces.
Does it support HDR?
The P27ZB is VESA DisplayHDR 600 certified and supports HDR10. The Nano IPS Black panel reaches 550 nits with 2000:1 contrast. HDR activates automatically on compatible content.
Is it good for gaming?
Yes - 240 Hz at 4K (or 480 Hz at FHD), 1 ms GtG response, FreeSync and G-Sync Compatible adaptive sync for tear-free play, and Low Blue Light for long sessions. Connect a PS5 or Xbox Series X/S via HDMI 2.1 for 4K at 120 Hz HDR.
What is the display made of?
The chassis is CNC-machined anodized aluminum in silver, with a flat matte finish and a slim three-sided 5 mm bezel. It measures 618 × 360 × 23.5 mm and weighs 5.25 kg without the stand.
How do the warranty and returns work?
The P27ZB is covered by a one-year limited warranty. Returns for covered defects are accepted within 7 days of delivery; beyond that, the unit is repaired or replaced under warranty for the remainder of the first year.
